RADIO WAVE-FM Radio, established in 1998 simulcasts on 105.9-FM and 99.9-FM with an 18-54 demographic. WAVE-FM features an American Top 40 music format with a mix of Caribbean and local music, reaching the 2 largest areas... the heavily populated Orange Walk and Cayo District. They have a popular program with call-in listener participation on Wednesday nights from 8PM-9PM. Tuesday nights from 8PM-9:30PM, they have the Sports Show, and on Thursday nights from 8PM-9:30 PM their popular talk program called Current Issues airs. On Sundays, they feature Contemporary, Gospel, Easy Listening music.
LOVE-FM Radio, established in 1993, is the only station that covers the entire country and simulcasts on 95.1-FM/88.9-FM with an adult 25-54 demographic. Their format is all Contemporary music, News, and All Caribbean music from the 70s and 80s. They have newscast daily at 6:45AM with updates at 8:30AM, 10:30AM, 11:30AM, 2:20PM, and 2:40PM. From 6AM to 8AM the station owners, Rene Villanueva and Richard Merrill host a show featuring news, music, and talk with guests and audience call-in participation. From 8AM to 5PM LOVE-FM plays adult contemporary music of the 60s to present day and love ballads. Saturdays, "Belizean Vibrations" program airs 9am to noon, 2pm to 5pm, promoting local country habits, lifestyles, music, talk, artists, sports, and what's happening in the community. Sundays are filled with religious oldies and country western music.
MORE-FM 99.5FM, 94.7FM and 107.1FM The station's signal reaches all the highly populated areas throughout the country. They target a young adult audience 15-30 with current hit music such as reggae, hip hop, dance hall, and R&B.
KREM-FM simulcasts to 90% of the country on 96.5-FM/89.9-FM/105.3-FM/91.1-FM reaching a demographic 25-34. KREM features a mix of R&B, Soul, Dance Hall (Reggae), Hip Hop, Punta Rock, and oldies. On Sundays, they feature Jazz and Gospel music,with talk shows, hip hop, and R&B music reaching the entire country. On Saturdays, from 5pm to midnight, they feature a "hot" evening of all music with live on-air requests and dedications. KREM also broadcasts national sporting events, festivals, pageants, and government elections information on a weekly basis. They also air Newscast at 10am, 12:30pm, and 6pm, Monday to Friday.
