LaRumba 98.5FM, "La Mas Divertida" is a very popular station reaching a whopping 60% of mixed adults, 18+, featuring a variety of 90% tropical salsa and meringue, 10% easy listening and Spanish popular music. The station's personalities are widely known throughout the country.
LaRumba has a very popular program called Botando El Golpe, Monday through Friday from 5PM-8PM. Independencia Radio Network 93.3FM, 105.7FM & 103.9FM- This station group broadcasts all over the country and features a music format of contemporary Spanish rhythms including salsa, meringue and salsa ballads. The audience is an equal mix of male and female adults 18+.
Primera FM 88.1FM- With National coverage they feature meringue and salsa music. The station plays no more than 10 minutes of commercials per hour. It effectively reaches an adult demographic 18-39.
Radio Cadena Comercial 106.5FM- This nationally broadcast station features one of the top, most listened to Radio personalities in the DR, Jochy Santos. His program, El Mismo Golpe, Monday thru Friday from 5PM-8PM, is the hottest Radio show in the country.
